Romania's pro-European government collapses in no-confidence vote

Romania's pro-European coalition collapsed on Tuesday after its parliament voted in a no-confidence motion to remove PM Ilie Bolojan. The largest party, Social Democrats, had left Bolojan's coalition last month and joined the far right. President Nicusor Dan, who is now expected to help rebuild the coalition, has given assurances, the EU and NATO member will retain its pro-Western stance.
