Ronaldo dethrones Beckham to become world's wealthiest footballer

Cristiano Ronaldo has topped the world's wealthiest player with a fortune of £122 million dethroning England legend David Beckham, who with £165 million was 2013’s richest. Ronaldo is followed in 2nd place by Barcelona forward Lionel Messi, who is worth £120.5 million and in 3rd place by Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o with a £70 million fortune.
