After Portugal-Colombia match ended in goalless draw, former Liverpool defender Alan Hansen criticised Ronaldo, saying Ronaldo had been offside more times than he could remember in FIFA World Cup 2026 because he lacked the pace to beat defenders. He added Ronaldo often ended up in wide areas instead of penalty box and described him as "pretty much invisible" in attack.
