Rony Abovitz steps down as AR startup Magic Leap CEO

Augmented reality startup Magic Leap CEO, Rony Abovitz, announced that he is stepping down from the position. Abovitz, who founded the startup in 2011, said the firm is "actively recruiting candidates" to replace him. He also said that Magic Leap has closed "significant" new funding. In April, Magic Leap had announced of its decision to fire employees at every level.
