RoohAfza as a brand started in 1907. Its meaning is "soul refresher" in Persian. RoohAfza was ranked number 10 in the top 100 food and drinks list by US-based Saveur Magazine in 2007. It is also the biggest driver of the parent company Hamdard's business, contributing 85% of the revenue.
