Rosneft-backed Nayara Energy reports ₹3,564 crore profit in Q1

Nayara Energy, backed by Russian oil company Rosneft, reported a net profit of ₹3,563.7 crore in the April-June quarter as against a loss of ₹139.1 crore in the corresponding period last year. Its profit in the January-March quarter was ₹409.5 crore. Nayara Energy operates over 6,500 petrol pumps in the country and a refinery at Vadinar in Gujarat.
