Row erupts after cross, mosque painted on K'taka temple wall; FIR filed

Paintings of a red cross and a green mosque on the compound wall of the Arakeshwara Temple in Karnataka's Mysuru have sparked objections from residents and drawn strong criticism from BJP. An FIR has been registered at the local police station against Arathi, the temple administration in-charge, and Vinay, who allegedly painted the symbols. Notably, the temple recently underwent renovation.
