Row erupts as Assam CM Sarma says beef can be eaten at home

Assam CM Himanta Sarma said there is a big community of Muslims who eat beef. "We don't tell them not to eat. We just tell them to eat it inside their houses," he stated. Reacting to Sarma's remarks, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav asked people to "remove BJP and protect cows". Notably, Sarma had earlier warned beef eaters of legal action.
