Row erupts over 700-yr-old Bharuch Jami Masjid as Hindu & Jain groups claim it was a temple

A controversy has erupted over 700-year-old Jami Masjid in Bharuch with Hindu and Jain groups claiming that it was a temple. Earlier, a video surfaced online which allegedly showed Hindu and Jain idols within the mosque premises. The trustees of the mosque have rejected the claim. Notably, a right-wing rally is scheduled to take place on Jun 15.
