RRP Defense secured a ₹29.8 crore purchase order from Bharat Electronics Limited for supply of high-precision germanium lenses used in infrared and thermal imaging systems. The order will be executed in phases till December 2026. The company stated that the lenses are critical components for thermal cameras, surveillance systems and advanced defence electro-optical platforms.
