The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has published 20 books on India’s cultural heritage and sacred Hindu texts, for schoolchildren. The books, related to the Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata and Ramayana, are the first set under the series 'Kathayein Puranon Se' (stories from the Puranas). RSS plans to distribute the books in 1.5 lakh schools run by their affiliated organisations.
