RTI activist shot dead outside LPU gate in Phagwara

Jalandhar-based RTI activist Simranjeet Singh was gunned down by two bike-borne youths outside the law gate of Lovely Professional University at Chaheru village of Phagwara on Saturday afternoon. Jalandhar Range DIG Naveen Singla said a .32 bore pistol from the crime spot and a .12 bore rifle had been recovered from a Fortuner.
