Rubio talks to NSAs of India & Pak, urges both to avoid escalation

After India conducted Operation Sindoor against Pakistan on Wednesday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with India's NSA Ajit Doval and Pakistan's NSA Asim Malik, the Department of State said. "He urged both to keep lines of communication open and avoid escalation," it added. Doval briefed Rubio on the actions taken, the Indian Embassy in Washington, DC, had said.
