Rupee crosses 93-mark for first time as Gulf war escalates

The Indian rupee has crossed the 93-mark against the US dollar as it crashed to a new record intraday low of 93.08 in early trade on Friday, PTI reported. This comes as the war in the Middle East escalates, with major oil and gas hubs being hit. Meanwhile, market indices Sensex and Nifty both opened in green on Friday.
