The Indian rupee fell to its weakest level in more than a week on Monday as oil prices climbed to $108 per barrel amid renewed tensions in West Asia. The currency declined 0.2% to settle at 95.9825 per dollar. India imports nearly 90% of its crude oil needs, making the rupee vulnerable to rising oil prices.
