Rupee hits fresh all-time low as oil prices hit $100 amid Gulf war
The Indian rupee hit a new all-time low against the US dollar as it fell 0.3% to 92.3575 on Thursday. This comes as Brent crude surges to $100/barrel despite IEA agreeing to its largest-ever oil tock release. "We expect...RBI to intervene in 92.30-92.35. However, if Brent continues to remain elevated...RBI may have to let the rupee go," an expert said.
