Rupee hits fresh all-time low of 84.30 after Trump wins US polls

The Indian rupee hit a fresh all-time low of 84.30 against the US dollar on Thursday. This comes amid persistent foreign outflows as well as rise in dollar's strength after Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 US Presidential elections. Notably, this marks the sixth consecutive session in which the Indian currency hit a fresh all-time low record.
