Rupee recovers after India-US trade deal, jumps 119 paise to 90.3 against US dollar

The Indian rupee showed signs of recovery on Tuesday after India and US announced a trade deal on Monday. Days after falling to a record low against US dollar, the rupee surged 119 paise to 90.3 against the US dollar in early trade on Tuesday. After a phone call with PM Modi, US President Donald Trump lowered tariffs to 18%.
