Rupee's over 1% intraday rally seen just 10 times since 2014

The Indian rupee, which jumped nearly 1.48% intraday on Tuesday, has seen over 1% gains only 10 times since 2014. Historically, the rupee's biggest intraday appreciation was recorded on December 18, 2018, when it surged 1.62%, followed by a 1.51% jump on November 11, 2022, according to Bloomberg. Today's rally surpassed the 1.40% rise seen on November 2, 2018.
