Rupee tumbles to lifetime low of 84.19 amid US Prez elections

The Indian rupee hit a fresh all-time low of 84.1950 against the US dollar on Wednesday. This comes as dollar surged during the ongoing US Presidential elections. Notably, this marks the fifth consecutive session in which the Indian currency touched a fresh lifetime low record. Rupee on Tuesday had dropped to 84.13 against US dollar, the previous all-time low record.
