Rupee weakens against US dollar in early deals on Monday

The Indian rupee weakened against the US dollar in early deals on Monday, weighed down by higher crude oil prices overseas and sustained foreign portfolio outflows from the domestic equity markets. Foreign institutional investors offloaded equities worth ₹4,346.13 crore on Friday, exchange data showed.
