Rushdie's son releases statement, says his sense of humour remains intact after attack

Salman Rushdie's son Zafar has released his family's statement on his father's condition after the author was stabbed multiple times on Friday in New York. Zafar said his father remains in critical condition, adding, "Though his life-changing injuries are severe, his usual feisty and defiant sense of humour remains intact." Zafar thanked audience members who helped Rushdie after the attack.
