Russell, Rutherford break world record for highest 6th wicket partnership in T20I cricket

West Indies' Andre Russell and Sherfane Rutherford on Tuesday broke the world record for registering the highest sixth-wicket stand in T20I cricket. The duo achieved the feat by sharing a 139-run stand against Australia in third T20I in Perth. The previous record was held by PNG's TP Ura and N Vanua, who shared a 115-run stand against Singapore in 2022.
