Russia allows production of banned low-grade gasoline amid fuel crisis

Russia has authorised the temporary production, import and sale of low-grade gasoline, which was banned more than a decade ago, in an effort to tackle its nationwide fuel crisis. "The main sources for making up for the deficit are imports and production of K-2, K-3, and K-4 fuel," Deputy PM Alexander Novak said. Russia recently started importing petrol from India.
