Russia attacks 12 regions of Ukraine hours before peace talks

Russia hit Ukraine's power infrastructure, killing three energy workers and leaving tens of thousands of people without power and heat. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack on 12 regions hours before the scheduled start of US-backed peace talks involving Ukraine and Russia in Geneva. Russia has frequently carried out attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities this winter.
