Russia awaits US briefing before deciding on proposed ceasefire

Russia on Wednesday said it needed to be briefed by the US on the outcome of US-Ukrainian talks in Saudi Arabia before it would comment on whether it would accept the proposed 30-day ceasefire. Ukrainian officials agreed to the proposal after more than eight hours of talks with the US delegation, led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
