Russia begins production of 'world's 1st' COVID-19 vaccine

Russia has started manufacturing 'Sputnik V', what it claims to be the world's first vaccine for COVID-19 and it will be rolled out by the end of this month, Russia's Health Ministry said. The vaccine has been developed by Moscow-based Gamaleya Research Institute in coordination with Russia's Defence Ministry. It has been approved without the final phase of human trials.
