Russia, China hold joint naval drills near Korean Peninsula

Russia and China on Monday began the second stage of the Joint Sea-2017 naval drills in waters near the Korean Peninsula. The week-long drills include submarine rescue and anti-submarine exercises, Chinese state media said. This comes amid increased tensions in the Korean Peninsula over North Korea's nuclear weapons programme.
