Russia closes German consulate in St Petersburg after drone spat

Russia said it was closing down the ​German Consulate-General in St Petersburg. The move comes in retaliation for Berlin's decision to close Russian consulate in Bonn and a ​Russian cultural centre. Germany accused Moscow of attempted drone ​attack at Leipzig/Halle Airport, which Russia called an absurd fabrication, warning Berlin would bear "full and complete responsibility" for the consequences.
