Russia conducts live-fire drills near British coast after new UK PM takes charge

Russian warships on Monday conducted a live-fire exercise just 46 miles (around 75 km) off the UK coast on the day Andy Burnham took charge as UK PM. The 30-minute exercise was conducted in international waters and involved the Russian vessel Neustrashimy. "One of his (Burnham's) first actions was to declare unconditional support for Ukraine," Russian spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
