Russia controls 19.4% of Ukrainian territory after 4 yrs of war: Report

Russia has occupied 19.4% of Ukraine’s territory four years into the war, according to the Institute for the Study of War. Over the past year, it has gained just 0.79% of Ukraine’s territory, the Washington-based think tank said. Before the full-scale invasion, Russia controlled nearly 7% of Ukraine, including Crimea and parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
