Russia declares ceasefire in 5 Ukraine cities including Kyiv for evacuation of civilians

Russia on Tuesday declared a ceasefire amid the ongoing war in Ukraine from 10 am Moscow time (12.30 pm IST) to provide humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of civilians in the cities of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Mariupol, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia said. The development comes following the third round of talks between Russia and Ukraine.
