Russia, India looking to develop Northern Sea trade route: Report

Russia and India are working on increasing the usage and development of the Northern Sea shipping route, Russia's Interfax reported. Russian Minister Alexei Chekunkov is visiting India to reportedly hold discussions on the subject. The cost of delivering a container from Vladivostok to India is a third lower than cost of shipping a container from Moscow, report added citing Chekunkov.
