Russia may briefly cut internet to test cyber defence: Reports

Russia is reportedly planning to temporarily disconnect itself from the internet before April 1 to test its cyber defences. The test will help gather insight on a draft law introduced last year that requires Russian internet providers to route data within the country and not globally in case foreign powers act to isolate it online, reports said.
