Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov on Friday said that Russia needs huge financial resources for its military operation in Ukraine. The war in Ukraine had prompted the West to impose sanctions on the Russian economy in an effort to discourage Russia from continuing the conflict. The Russian economy has been pushed to the brink of recession, according to Reuters.
