Russia never abandoned desire to normalise ties with US: Putin

Less than a month before US President-elect Donald Trump takes oath, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia "never abandoned" the desire to normalise ties with US and other Western countries. Putin added that the normalisation of ties should not come at the cost of Russian interests. Earlier, Putin said that Russia is ready to compromise with Trump on Ukraine war.
