Russia offers Izdeliye 177S Engine for Su-30MKI upgrades and AMCA

Rostec is offering its Izdeliye 177S engine to India for both Su-30 MKI upgrades and the AMCA fighter program, officials confirmed at Aero India 2025. The 177S, based on the Su-57's engine tech, offers increased thrust and a longer service life than the current AL-31FP, and is designed for easy integration. Local manufacturing by HAL is also proposed.
