Russia offers to help mediate between India and Pakistan

Russia has offered to help mediate between India and Pakistan to defuse the recent tensions between the two countries, Russian government officials said. "We are concerned about the escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan...which risks direct military clashes", Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Maria Zakharova said and added that Russia is ready to do anything it could to help.
