Russia opens case against Meta for allowing users to 'call for murder' of Russians

After Meta Platforms allowed Facebook and Instagram users in some countries to call for violence against Russians and Russian soldiers over the Ukraine war, Russia said it’s opening a criminal case against Meta for "calling for the murder" of its citizens. Prosecutors also requested a Russian court to brand Meta as "extremist" and restrict access to Instagram in the country.
