Russia plans to raise army age limit to 70 amid Ukraine war

Russia has planned to raise the maximum age limit to enlist in armed forces to 70 amid ongoing war with Ukraine. The move comes as Russia continues to suffer losses in the ongoing conflict, two years after its invasion. The development also comes amid Ukraine's bid to lower the minimum age for civilians to be mobilised from 27 to 25.
