Russia reports 36,582 new COVID-19 cases, 1,123 deaths in last 24 hrs

Russia has registered 36,582 new confirmed COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, according to the government COVID-19 task force. Moreover, it registered 1,123 deaths in the last 24 hours, the largest daily toll since the COVID-19 pandemic started. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered a nonworking period from October 30-November 7 to curb the rising cases of COVID-19.
