Russia responsible for flight MH17 crash that killed 298: UN

Russia was responsible for the downing of the Malaysia Airlines flight, MH17, in July 2014, the United Nations' aviation agency said. All 298 people on board the passenger plane were killed when it was shot down over Ukraine's Donetsk region. Notably, Russia has always denied any responsibility for the disaster. The flight was going from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.
