Russia sees over 50,000 new COVID-19 cases for 2nd straight day
For the second consecutive day on Saturday, Russia reported more than 50,000 new COVID-19 cases, with 51,699 testing positive. The country also recorded 92 coronavirus-related deaths over the last 24 hours, the government's coronavirus task force said. Russia reported 50,952 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, breaching the 50,000 mark for the first time in almost six months.
