Russia submits bid for India’s ₹50,000-cr deal to buy 5 more S-400 systems

Russia has submitted a detailed proposal for India’s tender to acquire five more S-400 Sudarshan long-range air defence system squadrons for the Indian Air Force, ANI reported. The project is estimated to cost over ₹50,000 crore, defence sources told ANI. The S-400 played a key role in countering Pakistan’s aerial attacks during Operation Sindoor last year.
