Russia-Ukraine war escalating towards a global conflict: Putin

After US and Britain allowed Ukraine to hit Russia with their missiles, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that his country's war with Ukraine was escalating towards a global conflict. Putin warned the West that Russia could strike back. He further said that Russia fired a new kind of hypersonic medium-range ballistic missile at Ukraine, adding that more could follow.
