Russia warns Apple of ₹494-crore fine over bias against local apps
Russia's antitrust watchdog has warned Apple of a $52 million (₹494 crore) fine over discriminatory practices against domestic apps and software. The regulator said Apple must ensure that Russian software, including search engines and messaging app Max, is pre-installed on its devices sold in the country. This comes after Apple removed Max from the App Store in compliance with sanctions.
