Russia warns Latvia against letting Ukraine launch drones, threatens retaliation

Russia's ambassador to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, said that the country had information about Ukraine planning to launch military drones from Latvia and other Baltic states. He warned that membership in NATO wouldn't protect those countries from retaliation. However, Latvia's envoy to the Security Council, Sanita ​Pavluta-Deslandes, immediately rejected the remarks as "pure fiction".
