Russian consulate in Iran's Isfahan damaged in strikes amid war

The Russian consulate in Iran's Isfahan was damaged ​in strikes on March 8, Russian ‌Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Tuesday. Calling the attack a "blatant violation" of international ​conventions, Maria stated that all sides should observe ⁠the "inviolability of diplomatic sites". She added, "Windows were shattered...​and several ​employees were ⁠thrown by the blast wave."
