Russian gamer Grisha Putin defeated seven players representing NATO in the grand strategy game 'Hearts of Iron IV' and won a prize of $45,000 (nearly ₹43 lakh). The game lets players take command of any nation during World War II. Russian state-owned media joked Putin "crushed" his opponent, Austrian NATO activist Gunther Fehlinger, adding, "Russia single-handedly defeats NATO."
