Russian General Surovikin, not seen since Wagner mutiny, fired
Russian General Sergei Surovikin, who is considered to be close to Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin, has reportedly been fired as head of the country's aerospace forces. Surovikin, who has been replaced by Viktor Afzalov, hadn't been seen in public since Wagner's failed mutiny against Russian forces in June. Surovikin, however, will continue serving in the Russian Defence Ministry.
